RV & Motorhome Inspections Near Edmonton
Buying an RV (new or used) is a major investment, and a solid inspection protects it. Our Red Seal certified Journeyman technicians perform thorough, documented inspections on every type of RV, from travel trailers and fifth wheels to Class A, B, and C motorhomes. If you're searching for a motorhome inspection near you in the Edmonton or Leduc area, here's what we offer:
Pre-purchase inspections, two packages:
- 50-point inspection: a professional review of the RV's key systems and overall condition. A solid choice for buyers who want a qualified second opinion before they commit.
- 150-point inspection: a deeper, bumper-to-bumper evaluation of the coach and its operating systems for buyers who want maximum confidence.
Both packages include a detailed electronic inspection report so you have clear documentation to identify concerns and negotiate with confidence. Can't tow the unit into our Leduc shop? Our mobile RV service can perform the inspection on-site at a private property.
Why inspect a new RV too? New doesn't always mean problem-free: factory defects, transport damage, sealant issues, and appliance setup problems are all common. An independent pre-delivery inspection catches them before you take possession.
For Alberta hail, wind, and storm damage, we work directly with all major insurers. See our RV insurance repairs and weather damage repair pages for the full claims process.
Already a Canadian Camper customer? Explore our RV service rates, our RV maintenance plan for seasonal winterization and spring start-up, and genuine RV parts for your unit. Trading up? Value your trade-in while it's in the shop.
Buying Or Selling Your RV
Pre-Purchase Inspection
Buying an RV is a major investment, and a pre-purchase RV inspection helps protect it. Whether you are considering a new or used RV,hidden issues can quickly lead to expensive post-sale repairs. That is where we come in with the specialized rv service, Edmonton buyers depend on, delivering a comprehensive, bumper-to-bumper assessment that ensures every major mechanical system is thoroughly verified before any money changes hands.
That is why we offer two pre-purchase inspection packages. Our 50-point inspection is a solid option for buyers who want a professional review of the RV’s key systems and overall condition. For a more detailed evaluation, our 150-point inspection provides a deeper inspection of the coach and its operating systems.
Both packages include a detailed electronic inspection report, giving you clear documentation to support your buying decision, identify potential concerns, and negotiate with confidence. If you are unable to tow the unit into our shop for this assessment, our on-call mobile rv service can perform on-site evaluations at private properties or storage lots. Before you commit to an RV purchase, choose the inspection package that matches the level of detail you need and buy with greater peace of mind.

Buying New? Get It Inspected
Why get an independent inspection on a new RV?
Because new does not always mean problem-free. A brand-new RV can still have factory defects, transport damage, sealant issues, appliance malfunctions, or system setup problems. A Canadian Camper pre-purchase inspection gives you an unbiased assessment of the RV’s condition before delivery, helping you catch issues early, protect your investment, and move forward with confidence. Our comprehensive selection of professional rv services ensures that your brand-new rig is actually road-ready before your first big trip.
What do dealers miss? Lots…
- Propane systems (safety)
- Roof Seals (reseal cost)
- Water entry points (decreased value)
- Fit and finish items that aren't typically covered once the RV is sold
We find the hidden problems before you take possession of your RV. This prevents annoying, immediate return trips to the dealership lot and sets you up perfectly for your ongoing upkeep with Canadian Camper; your choice for dependable Edmonton RV service.
